On Friday, June 20, my partner and I were assaulted, drugged and had all of our money stolen at the Seven Feathers Casino. We woke up the next morning completely disoriented, in a random parking lot, dazed, confused and broke. When I called to talk to Deputy Dobbs about this, he was uncaring, nonchalant about it and basically blamed US for what happened. I have never filed a police report in my life. I don't do drugs. I stopped off for a few minutes of "fun" during a long drive. But he made me feel like the culprit. Deputy Dobbs, you are a horrible man. I'm considering suing the department for the humiliation you put me through as a victim. I've also never filed a lawsuit against anyone before but, you sir, should NOT be allowed to speak with victims. It's not my fault someone drugged me, sir. Try having some compassion. Last time I checked, that was a part of your job. All you told me is "I've never heard of that happening at Seven Feathers before." Well guess what, it happened to me. And guess what else ... it could happen to your family next week. Bet you'd pay attention then...
