Loved our one night stay here. Rooms were very clean, nice and cozy. My husband took advantage of the shuttle service to seven feathers casino nearby. Only reason for four stars is that the breakfast was very busy with very little seating. Most of the food ran out and was not restocked including the yogurt and pancake machine that was not functioning.
The location and price were spot on. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning was predictable. Now for the cons. The guest upstairs must have had lead footed kids. And, we could hear the vacuum in the room next door. While the floors had been vacuumed, they had several stains. All of the cons are relatively minor and wouldn't sway me from staying there again. I feel I got what I paid for.
It was a nice property physically but it was not necessarily well-maintained nor was it necessarily clean. We arrived late. The front desk person was off doing something for 15 minutes while we waited. So the desk was unattended. It's across the freeway from a Native American casino and they own the Holiday Inn as well. It's just off the freeway so it's a good location. I would stay here again. I would just like to see better service and a cleaner property.
Can always count on Holiday Inn Express for a good experience, this location didn't disappoint! Clean room (temp was 60 when we walked in, kinda cold but we turned the heat on right away!), comfy bed, great breakfast and nice pool (although hot tub was out of order and pool could have been a few degrees warmer). People above us were loud until midnight and then someone across from us was walking their crying baby back and forth in front of our door at 5AM but no reflection on the hotel itself. Easy to ignore in a good bed!! Ultimately everything you could ask for was covered--a clean, comfy place to sleep and a good continental breakfast.
Nice place. Rooms were nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. You were given two pillows per person and 1 each of a soft and firm. The air conditioner was not real loud either. Can't say much about the continental breakfast though. Food was luke warm and waffle maker didn't work.
